A Tim Holtz paper distressor which I never bother getting out as it's just as easy to use the blade of a pair of scissors (when I distress which is rarely). My circle and oval cutters - so much easier to use my Nesties and Cuttlebug. I'm hoping my local stamp store will add a sort of garage-sale component to its breast cancer fundraiser where we can donate things we don't use anymore!

Love the beautiful shade of blue of your card!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07741064223875062517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9008375791436102784.post-36222475356940140132010-10-24T21:39:03.767-04:002010-10-24T21:39:03.767-04:00I bought a circle cutter about 4 months ago; I was...I bought a circle cutter about 4 months ago; I was dying for it. I wouldn't want him to think that there were items in my craftroom languishing and never being used. No sir-ree! I used them ALL!! LOL!!!

The most useless item I ever bought (and only tried to use 3-4 times) was a Basic Grey notch tool...totally useless!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08026661239520689778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9008375791436102784.post-47520963173507613152010-10-24T15:40:26.807-04:002010-10-24T15:40:26.807-04:00Love this pretty blue creation! My friend...lol...not too much languishing anymore. My friend Susan, talked me into cleaning and purging! Of course, that's left me no time for creating, and now my desk is so clean that I don't wanna mess it up! However, I would have to agree on the useless punches! Love your card, Susan!!! That CS is great! Start with sealing wax, glue gun, 3 huge trimmers, countless "designer" scissors, umpteen bottles and tubes of different adhesives, ditto stamp cleaners, ditto ink washes, ditto colors of embossing powder, ditto stamp reinkers, ditto glitter, Pearl-Ex, Perfect Pearls and Twinkling H2O's, light box, Ott light, Darice stamping mat, every kind of sponge there is, useless punches I never should have bought in the first place, two huge cartons of colored cardstock, and a partridge in a pear tree. Oh the GUILT! I could go on for pages. But my new Cuttlebug makes me sooooooooooooooo happy!

Love your card, wish I had that text stamp you've used so well several times. There's no perfect substitute for what that does.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9008375791436102784.post-11655871172770054532010-10-24T08:54:21.725-04:002010-10-24T08:54:21.725-04:00My embossing gun and powders...love the look, rare...My embossing gun and powders...love the look, rarely use it. Got the gun on sale so it was a good deal and I do use it to dry ink. My stamp-ma-jig was rarely used too, until lately, when I decided to keep it on my work table. I'm a lazy stamper and would rather stamps a thing wrong 2-3 times than have to get up and get something out.

Very nice card...I like the text in the middle as an anchor.Dinahsoarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03877872564454797447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9008375791436102784.post-7233564860109283762010-10-24T08:51:51.103-04:002010-10-24T08:51:51.103-04:00Pretty-like the text and the pretty blue. I wonder how many people have the Brayer Backgrounds from fiskars? I bought a kit, cheaply, which makes me feel slightly better, and only ever used it once. I was convinced it was the answer to my background problems, huh? well they certainly didn't work for me, they were too 'stiff' in design. I much prefer to use a small image and randomly stamp. Of course you don't know this until you try!
I love that you wait and consider before you buy, so much more sensible.
Another great topic Susan :0) xxG Peplowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09474540523384141247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9008375791436102784.post-53621015220504734212010-10-24T07:04:33.699-04:002010-10-24T07:04:33.699-04:00I'm enamored with brass stencils.
