I can't abide wearing purple, but love it in nature and on other people. The same goes for bright pinks. A friend of mine (whose wardrobe is full of purples and pinks) feels just as yukky in my favorite colors of red or greens as I do in hers. I'm not sure there's a hard-and-fast rule for any occasion. I have sent bright, almost neon sympathy cards, because that is what the person was like in life. On the other hand, I've send subdued, almost dull birthday cards because those are the colors the recipient likes. It's impossible to pick a favorite. Both would be welcome, I think, for the occasions they're intended.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06683094014232133033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9008375791436102784.post-8165720570859752392013-03-02T10:14:02.561-05:002013-03-02T10:14:02.561-05:00Wonderful comparisons, what a difference just chan...Wonderful comparisons, what a difference just changing the ink colour makes :)jintyoo7https://www.blogger.com/profile/06665808030123838483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9008375791436102784.post-79957948611858050842013-03-02T07:53:04.330-05:002013-03-02T07:53:04.330-05:00Marilyn, you might find Botanical Silhouettes on e...Marilyn, you might find Botanical Silhouettes on ebay or other buy/sell forums online. I love the pink and green combo anyway and it fits a sympathy card perfectly. So, all that said, both cards are just right! LOL!
