But I can get out a punch, punch the shape, and put the punch away in the time it takes me to find a die. AND if I need multiples of the same shape, in a race against a die machine, rolling a single die through multiple times, my punch would win hands down. I like the effort of making a card to be clean, simple and f.a.s.t. I find dealing with dies too faffy for my slightly OCD personality.

While I love my dies and own several of them I'd choose a punch over a die almost any day. I find myself redoing a card design just to avoid having to get out a die. And this in spite of the fact that my dies, machine, etc are all at the tip of my fingers.

I find myself using my red and white bakers twine all the time. Especially at Christmas and Valentines day. Almost any card can handle some twine wrapped around it, tied in a knot or bow without being too fussy or over done.Dinahsoarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03877872564454797447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9008375791436102784.post-47505633840060417002014-08-29T03:18:28.683-04:002014-08-29T03:18:28.683-04:00Genius.
