Copying Joan B...Again

Today's card was made weeks ago, before the Rainbow Mojo Give-Away, I think. Anyway, I totally cased it from Joan B's blog Paperlicious...check out this post.

I loved how Joan used the white embossing on pink and the pink and brown stamping on white. The card is so fresh and well-balanced and spoke to me on many levels. I changed the color and stamps (none of my script sentiments looked good with Delight in Life's big flower...go figure...so I went with PTI's classic set Paper Tray instead) and embellishment, but it's basically the same as her card.

Thanks, Joan, for the ongoing inspiration you give us on Paperlicious! And for the laughs!

Supplies
stamps: SU Delight in Life, PTI Paper Tray
ink: white craft ink, cool caribbean classic; Palette dark chocolate
paper: SU cool caribbean, PTI white
accessories: white embossing powder, gemstone flower, dimensionals, corner rounder

  1. Oh, what a beautiful card! I love the white on aqua, and then the aqua on white. And I just LOVE Delight in Life --- you can't make a bad card with it. The bling really sets it off. The whole thing's elegant and gorgeous......and still CAS.

  2. Delight in Life is one of my favorites -- so much so that my card recipients must think it is the only set I own! Loved Joan's card and this is a beautiful CASE.

  7. UT! OH! another SU set I MUST have. Fortunately my sister just invited me to a SU party next month.

Linking the perfect sentiment with the image is a talent of yours I so admire. I USED to think one Happy Birthday stamp was enough. Now I have about 25 and always yearn for just one more.

  8. I appreciate how you lined up the petals between the blue and white flowers to make them appear a reflection of the other. It really highlights the play between the two colors.

This may be another SU set that I'll need to scout out on eBay.
