Thank You Butterflies

This set of cards went to one of my boys' teachers for an end-of-year gift. The butterfly is from the SU hostess set my demo gave me for being such a long-term loyal customer. She's a sweetie! I thought the alphabet butterfly would be perfect for a teacher.

Monday, I'm driving home from visiting my sister in Maryland for the past four days. Many thanks to everyone who has been so good about leaving comments...please know that I appreciate each and every one of them, even if I haven't replied!

Supplies
stamps: SU (butterfly), Papertrey (sentiment)
ink: Memento
paper: Mark's Finest Papers
accessories: black half-pearls

  2. I love this butterfly but never thought of it as a teacher gift. You're right on target as always. I'll remember this for next year 'cause this is one set I'll be keeping! Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. Oh, what a GREAT idea for a teacher gift!! The ABCs on the wings never hit me as being perfect for teachers, but they are. I must file away this idea!

  5. LOVE these cards!
after that wonderful post about using what we have instead of always buying more, i look at these cards and think....
i have some nifty butterflies (not this one, but some different nifty ones) and i cd make a similar card. i cd also adapt this design using a flower, or a heart, or leaf, or a fruit.
    thanks for the inspiration.
i LOVE visiting with you. you are the best!!

    travel safely...

  6. I love the bold punch of colors on the butterflies and the shape/roundness of the butterfly image is so nice!

  7. Have a safe drive - I hope you had a wonderful visit!
Last-minute me, I'm just getting started on the merry-go-round of teacher & aide gifts, and my oldest is 'graduating' from elementary school, so the pressure is ON. So many people to thank, so few ideas. Thank you for this one :)
