Round and Round Goes Green and Gray

While I had Papertrey's Round and Round out for the OLW challenge, I decided to try a green and gray combo. I love Memento's Pear Tart (hee, hee!) and London Fog.

After I stamped the circles, I trimmed the extra off each edge, so the card is actually about 5.25" wide rather than the standard 5.5". It looked WAYYYY too symmetrical, so I stamped the sentiment directly over the images in the sweet spot (bottom right third). That keeps the card from being boring.

Well, I think it does.

For those who are interested in my new stamp catalog, here's a sample of a few pages. I'm using cheap 80lb white card stock from Office Depot and sepia ink.

These are stamps from my storage drawers. All my Papertrey sets, stored in jewel cases separately, are in a different binder.

Hope you all had a good weekend! We sure did, and things are looking better on the home front. Thank you all for your kindness!

  1. Love the colour combo you used and the card :) Your catalog looks fabulous too. Glad to hear things are better on the home front :)

We had three sickies this week...thankfully kids are now healthy and I'm the only one left with a bug which got me but good. Cough, chills, stuffed up, could sing base, you name it. HATE being sick as it happens so rarely. Actually can't remember the last time I was sick. So trying to be a good patient and it is not easy LOL!

  5. I love the stamp with the curled leaf and wondered what set it came from. I also loved the very large full tree with the small tree scene in the back ground. Would you mind telling us the name of the sets?
I am just starting an inventory of my stamps and love how you used the sepia ink.

  6. Katherina, the curled leaf is an old PSX stamp. PSX went out of business years ago. I'm not sure which of the other stamps you're referring to. The top photo, upper right side shows StampinUp's Lovely as a Tree set (still available). All three tree stamps on the bottom photo, left side are by PSX, as are the pine bough and the saying.
    Hope that helps!
