I'm having trouble uploading photos from my computer to Blogger, which is frustrating because I'm half-way through a really cool inspiration post...and I can't get the photos uploaded!!! Grr. I've restarted my computer twice, and no joy.
Anyone else having a problem with this?

ReplyDeleteI had difficulty with uploading photos to blogger a few months ago - each photo took absolutely ABSOLUTELY AGES to load. For a while, I had to start a post, then go off and do something like eat dinner or do some ironing, and come back an hour later, and *maybe* the photos had loaded by then, if I was lucky. The problem fixed itself when my computer did an automatic update of software - I wish I knew which particular bit of software caused the issue, but it wasn't blogger.
ReplyDeleteI don't use Blogger when I write my posts. I have switched to Windows Livewriter and it is so much easier (and free). It downloads a blank layout of your blog and then you create your post and hit upload and it does all the work for you. I found posting with Blogger to be too much of a pain.
ReplyDeletea long while ago I too had trouble. Sources on the web said to use the HTML button to upload the photos, then switch back to the "compose" mode to finish your post. I resisted for a while --but it did work. This happened for about 3 months before it fixed itself. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteThere are times Blogger is a Bugger, but I too downloaded Live writer and am very happy with it. Free, easy to use and you can also save your post to your PC. I do go back and forth, but Live Writer is still the best.
ReplyDeleteJust adding my two cents, I use Live Writer too and love it. I had to go back to blogger recently bc of not being at home computer and it was a pain!
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm having similar issues! Sometimes it takes FOREVER to load a small file size photo --- Hopefully...the bugs will get worked out soon as it is sooooo frustrating when technology doesn't work like it should =)
ReplyDeleteI had issues the day you wrote this post. The problem seemed to be in the window where you uploaded your photo. The photo wasn't showing up. I hit the 'add selected photo' even though it wasn't in view yet and that worked. I haven't tried today.
