I'm excited to share a picture of some of my Christmas bounty! Here's my first order of new stamps in the new year...
It's quite a diverse selection of goodness, including Ruby Reprise, apparently a freebee offered by Papertrey in December that I wasn't expecting. It's an adorable set.
I also have an order coming from Waltzingmouse that appears to have been taken hostage by the USPS or perhaps customs. Not sure which.
It's been a long and trying week, so instead of talking about stamping, I'd like to ask you a couple of questions.
What happy stampy goodness did you receive this holiday season?
What happy stampy goodness do you want in the new year?
Because I still have money burning a hole in my pocket and am waffling in indecision over what to order next.
We did no gift exchanging in our family this year, so I got no crafty goodness. So....I want it all, Santa! Lol...
ReplyDeleteThat's so interesting. My own Waltzingmouse is also being taken hostage. Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteI got some fantastic Freshly Squeezed stamps. Very exciting!
I'd love to get some PTI but shipping to Canada is far too crazy.
Hmmm, Christine. You're in Canada, right? Weird. I mean, it's weird that we both have slow orders. Not that you're Canadian. ;)
DeleteFreshly Squeezed...must check out their latest stuff!
I got a lovely Graphic 45 set of cling rubber stamps and matching dies called "Tea Time." I love tea pots. While I have other tea stamps, this is my only die cut tea set so it's very special to me. I also received the Fruit Cocktail Memento ink set - yummy colors. That was it for me. Your haul looks grand, Susan! I hope your stamps arrive soon :)
ReplyDeleteno gift exchange on this end but I did win a $50.00 prize worth of StampinUp products of my choice of which I got 2 paper punches and 2 embossing folders.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you will receive your other products that you had ordered soon
enjoy your new stuff! I'm not following releases of stamps right now so no advice there. However, whatever you get will be used well! I got a GC for Paper Source and bought a pack of muslin bags and a few other things. Can't wait to find the time to decorate those bags!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful new year haul! I received some lovely Lili of the Valley and Lawn Fawn stamps, but am eyeing their new releases too! Would love some new Waltzingmouse Stamps, no big delivery worries for me as they are only up the road :)
ReplyDeleteI am longing for the Chickadee Tea stamp from IOS-can't get it out of my head. I have gotten new inks colors (Hero Arts) and loving them. I also got SU brown sugar and like that it is a mid tone brown ink. I always feel the need for an infusion of new stamping stuff in the New Year and the time to use it. PS I am looking forward to seeing what your haul produces!
ReplyDeleteI haven't used my gift ecard yet to Technique Tuesday, but I will soon. I love their flowers especially The Greenhouse Society sets. Some of the companies mentioned in other posts are new to me so I plan to check them out this week. Thanks for asking the question.
ReplyDeleteI just saw a blog post featuring stamps from a company I hadn't heard of before. It's called Reverse Confetti and it was started by Jen del Muro. This is where I'd shop if I had some extra Santa money to spend. Have fun!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great haul. Would love to know which ones you got. All Papertrey?
ReplyDeleteI went a little crazy with my shopping - just found Unity stamps and love the Phyllis Harris Stamps, especially Every Breath and Your wings exist and Let Love Fly, plus some itty bittys and the very small stamp Under the mistletoe.
no gifts here either.
ReplyDeleteBut I hope to buy this year the new TH-diecut with the birds
PS. There is a 50% sale at Unity from today until Sunday 12 January! Oh la la!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure you love the books.
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah!
DeleteThe most exciting thing I got was a new label maker. It's not exactly a stamp supply, but will be put to good use organizing my craft disaster area! Oh, also, hubby bought me a small flatscreen tv fro my craft space. Just have to figure out how to split the satellite feed and I am in business.
ReplyDeleteAs for what I'm looking forward too, I have quite an extensive wishlist after Jennifer McGuire's favourite things series. Will need to narrow that list down a bit before placing an order!
A lot of my wish list is from Hero Arts. I think my wallet might explode if I looked up Jennifer McGuire's favorite things series.
DeleteYes, it's very good, but very dangerous!
DeleteI'm very excited to have a new (great price, too!) Cameo Silhouette, and I love what I can already do with it. Also My Favorite Things has an updated cardstock sampler with all their colors, so I ordered it to see if MFT can fill some of the gaps in my PTI and Paper Source collection. I'm kind of wishing for a label maker, but it doesn't seem cost justified for me, and I can't really say it would be fun to have. But sometime I might just buy one and get it over with. Love your new PTI stamp choices and will enjoy seeing what you do with them!
ReplyDeleteAlways love to see others new goodies! Got new shelving and a wonderful chair for my stamp room from Santa, and have spent some $$ gifts on Paper Smooches...absolutely LOVE their Many Thanks set and several of their dies. Looking forward to placing a PTI order soon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all your new goodies!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Debbie!
I think the Clearly Besotted range of stamps might work for you (no I don't have any affiliation with the company). I think their range of stamps might appeal to your CAS style. Jennifer McGuire has used them too.
