A few months ago...

I made these cards while trying to use all the stamps in PTI's Fruitful set. It's a very fun set to work with (except the pears, which you can read about HERE).

This strawberry card would be better if I had just stamped the big strawberry on the card rather than cut it out and glue it. But I cut it out, by golly, and it was getting USED. This would make a great card to mass-produce for gift sets, don't you think? It's a pain cutting out that little strawberry, though, so maybe not, if you're lazy like I am.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. And aren't you impressed with my rockin' and rollin'? Sometimes that technique just doesn't work for me, but this time, well, it ROCKS.

This may be the first time I've used a scalloped shape for my favorite white-on-white layering. Can't remember. But it's so pretty and screamed for a few embossed lines and a bit of bling.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. That apple was stunning in its perfection. It is so mutli dimensional looking. Great work on these cards. Go ahead and add the pear card to these and make a gift set!

  8. Way to go using (almost) all the images in that set. I read your pear post and the funny thing is, before I even read your issue with pear images I saw your card and thought, "gee, those look like a bunch of colored..." well, same idea that you had. I think it would be kind of disconcerting to get a card with a bunch of colored phallic symbols on it (ROFL)!

I like the pattern on the strawberries, the rock and roll on the apple and the rhinestones on the grape card.

  9. Very nice! I love the strawberries bracketing the sentiment. And the rock and roll technique on the apple makes it good enough to eat! Love the white scalloped layer on white with the purple.

  11. Your cards keep drawing me back for another look. For me, it's the grapes. I don't have any purple bling, but I am just going to have to make my own version of the grapes card.
    Thank you.
