My Final Word on the Coldwater Creek Dress

I had to make a super-CAS card with the inspiration of this dress.

Here it is.

And after the day I just had, I'm off to watch the A&E's Mansfield Park, which I've never seen before but found on DVD at the local library. Jane Austen might save me from curling up in the fetal position and sucking my thumb.

Or maybe someone should sing me Soft Kitty, STAT!!!!

Supplies
stamps: Hero Arts
ink: Memento
paper: PTI
accessories: ribbon

  4. The dress is lovely and so is your card.

Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.

As a Brit I wasn't familiar with Soft Kitty until the Big Bang Theory! Was that fast enough for you?

  12. OOOHHH. Love it! I got distracted by the cold water creek site. There is some nice stuff there. Which version is the Mansfield Park. I have an old one that I think is the best representation of the novel. It was made in the 80's and is about five hours long made by the BBC.

  14. What a lovely CAS card! I'm so excited because I also found that Hero Arts stamp at the LSS garage sale last Friday! I may just have to try my very first CAS card! LOL!! I've been enjoying your blog for a long time now and still have not tried the one layer CAS cards like you make.

  15. Well, I don't know what an LSS garage sale is, but I wish I had one here. I love any tulip stamp, but this one is especially beautiful. I wouldn't even be tempted to color it! Gorgeous card, Susan, just perfect in it's CASness.

I so enjoy your blog, Susan, and your stamping! And I LOVE that you requested "Soft Kitty"! Did you know it as a child, or from The Big Bang Theory, where I learned of it? Sheldon's a hoot!

  18. Sheldon taught me Soft Kitty. Of course in our house, we changed it to Soft Puppy, but ending the song in "Grrr, grrr, grrrr" doesn't have quite the same effect as "purr, purr, purr."
