What a day. We got up early, drove to the Columbus Zoo, walked around all day, drove home, met sitter, left for dinner, got stuck in horrendous traffic, ate at the bar of a nice restaurant because there were no tables for three hours, saw Harry Potter, and drove home, and now, at 11:46 on Saturday night, I can't think straight.
But I wanted to give you a card for Sunday. So here you are. I can't say a single intelligent thing about it except that I like it. A lot. And that's not very intelligent.
Sorry.
Have a lovely Sunday. I think we're having pajama day at our house. Devotionals in front of the fireplace at 10:00. Or maybe 11:00. Whenever I start thinking straight again.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Whew, I'm tired just reading all of that! Gorgeous card though!
ReplyDeleteHave a RELAXING Sunday!
Love the card. Hhhmmm, pj day sounds good.
ReplyDeleteDelightful card. I'm in the same boat - exhausted! But slept 12 hours last night (kids are big enough to get their own breakfast - so thankful for that!) And have lounged around today . . . reading with feet up on the verandah . . . watching a movie. A day of rest. Lovely
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy day. I normally dont think straight until noon. :)
ReplyDeleteYou do the most fabulous CAS cards, this is beautiful.
What a pretty card. Simple. Elegant. And you know, that sentiment says it all, doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteThis card is simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteSaying you "..like it. A lot," is a very intelligent statement seeing as there's so much to like!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the card...we all need a pj day every so often, so enjoy yours I had mine on Wednesday:)
ReplyDeleteI love it:) It's sooo lovely!! tfs
ReplyDeleteNow there's a PERFECT card because it's one that's sending a huge message without the trappings that are so cliche. And the grey is the genius touch of glamor....yes, yes love this card.
ReplyDeleteHope today is mostly white space for you. Good thing George cooks.
Thanks
Plain, simple and beautiful. I like the font of the sentiment. I think your 'energizer bunny' inside just needs to be recharged! Have a relaxing Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! My burning question is : How was the Harry Potter movie? I have to wait for my best girlfriend to get back from a trip as we've seen all the others together and don't want to break our tradition.
ReplyDeleteYOur cards really never need any intelligent words for them - they speak for themselves! Love your card (as always)! Have a great relaxing Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLOVED the movie, Susan. Just a few things outright changed from the book that were a bit jarring, though most of what they changed made sense. JK wrote novels, not movie scripts, so translating them to film does require some modification. That said, the pace toward the end gets too fast...weakens the emotional impact, IMHO. Won't say more so I don't spoil it for you. I want to see it in the theater again.
ReplyDeleteSeeing the movie is on my to-do-list. Can hardly wait! I would love to use your card for my Christmas cards. I have just been so busy and I love it. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBlimey, what a day! Le are heading to harry potter this afternoon ... can't wait. love your star card - cas at it's finest ... no need for words!!
ReplyDeleteThank-you because a day without one of your cards is like a day without sunshine
ReplyDeleteYour CAS cards are always so lovely! TFS!
ReplyDeleteomg! i had the same kind of day, what is that! lol! enjoy your sunday. and your card is delightful. thank you.
ReplyDeleteI like it a lot too, you only need one star for that verse of course, and the verse itself is a great one to have on the card.
ReplyDelete(Thanks so much for including me in your CAS favs today, it was a nice surprise when I got home from church)
Very elegant and so thoughtful!
ReplyDeleteSusan, this card is gorgeous!! I hope it is okay for you, that I will case it, because I sure will case it....
