Instead of stamping for the past two days, I've cleaned house. We have company in town for the Air Force Marathon. Having company really is the only reason for expending the effort to get your house truly clean, don't you think?
My sore muscles and I will be back on Monday at the latest with something, even if it's only a picture of the awesome goodness that the UPS man brought to my house from A Muse today.
Have a lovely weekend!
I love the way you think. The older I get, the less I clean, too! Enjoy your company, and we'll have something to look forward to all weekend! Can't wait to see your 'amusing' photo.
ReplyDeleteI am with you on that one Susan, I started cleaning this morning ready for an influx of visitors.
ReplyDeleteI do the same. With two kids and a dog in the house (not to mention the hubby), cleaning and tidying only lasts about two seconds anyway. :-) Enjoy your week-end, it sounds like it will be fun.
ReplyDeleteYour title cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteI so agree with you about cleaning/tidying....only do it properly when we are having visitors as we call 'company' over here. My windows all need cleaning and whilst others around us pay someone to do it I refuse to pay as they will be just as bad after the next shower which will come in 10 mins as I've just put the washing on the line!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
Sometimes I specifically invite people over because then it forces me to give my house a good cleaning. :-)
ReplyDeleteAmen about the cleaning! I couldn't agree with you more. The mister hubby and 2 dogs really don't give a hoot about how clean the house is, only me. So, company is always the reason the house gets an overhaul.
ReplyDeleteI actually love having house guests. It MAKES me clean!!

Yep - why clean when you can stamp? DH likes visitors - a clean house and he gets dinners cooked :)
ReplyDeleteWell, enjoy your clean home! I know I love how it looks for days after I have done a thorough cleaning!
ReplyDeleteOh great!! Company above us ... tee hee hee! Enjoy your company (and I agree about it being the only reason to really clean) and see you when they leave :-)

ReplyDeletei couldn't agree with you more--with one exception. When my allergies kick in, it's time to remove the dust.
ReplyDeleteRelax and enjoy your guests!
