That sentiment font is so very pretty. Take a closer look.
So pretty it doesn't need any embellishment...just a simple and subtle frame and a rich, beautiful color.
The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp's It's Your Birthday. The envelope stamps are also from SSS, Envelope Sentiments. The card size is 3.5" x 6.25".
Today's post shows how very little you need to make a pretty, high-impact card. Ink. White card stock. Pretty stamps.
And it made me happy. So very happy!

ReplyDeleteRight now, my Silhouette Cameo has made what little creating I've been able to do soooo much easier--which, in turn, makes me happy. While I love the creative process, I make an unholy mess while doing it and current home updates already have claim to everything being out of place and in the wrong rooms. A quick cutting file has saved me twice this week!

another thing that made me happy was using all these prestamped images I made ages ago and finally finished them to a card series. Mosted of them are already on my blog :)

ReplyDeleteI've making several cards lately that really make me happy, some of them clean, some less so but they made me step out of my comfort zone. And now, looking back, I'm amazed that it was me who made them.
I've also finally started to organize my craft room. After my husband's surgery, chemotherapy, and final surgery this February and my own struggles with a frozen shoulder that's still not fully thawed, I'm happy that we are both having more strength and energy to tackle things that have been left this past year.
It's so fun to get outside your comfort zone occasionally.

Gorgeous. These super clean cards scare me a bit since the craftsmanship must be superb (as yours is).

DeleteI'm happy that my lengthy bout of brain fog finally seems to be lifting. Because of a change in medication, I have not been able to concentrate or make decisions and so have been incapable of doing anything creative. Today I made my first card in months. Woohoo!
