OLW25 Birds and Bees, Flowers and Trees

Jennifer's OLW25 Challenge was so much fun! I used my brand new Washi tape to make the ground for this Hero Arts flowering tree and bird...so I got three of the components onto the card!

The Washi tape isn't as easy to design with as I thought it would be, and this is definitely the best card I've made with it so far. I'm not giving up, though. More on Washi tape later...when I've figured it out.

Supplies
stamps: Hero Arts
ink: Palette dark chocolate, SU markers, real red
paper: pre-made card (5 x 7)
accessories: red gemstones, Washi tape

Ha! Three elements, go you! Love that little red bird checking out the tree. Super pretty card.

I'm pretending not to see the tape - I do not need yet another addiction...heh.

Very cool. I especially like that flowering tree. I know nothing about Washi tape but I have been watching Donelda use it with interest. I guess I am going to learn more about it soon. Like Jennifer though, I don't need to add anything to my wish list!

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the way you can combine multiple stamps and a couple of embellishments and still get a perfectly balanced CAS card.

Washi tape, nice! I haven't tried it yet. New stuff can sometime be intimidating.

Great card! I think this is the first Washi tape card I've seen that gets the tape so perfectly straight!

I have a few sheets of beautiful Washi paper but this is the first I've heard of Washi tape - looking forward to hearing more about it. Love your card.

love what you did with your washi tape here...I am so "into" green gingham these days!! I too struggle with it but continue to be inspired by others around the www.
