Random Inspiration

The primary inspiration for my red tree card HERE was actually a brown paper bag from Starbuck's with a red-and-white winter scene. The bag held a piece of banana bread that begged me to eat it. Of course, I always flex to white card bases, but every now and then, I have to use kraft, and that brown paper bag made me do it.

Nothing is ever my fault, you see.

Going to bed for a good night's sleep and hoping to get some stamping done this weekend. I hope y'all do, too!

  7. This is one of my favorite color combos, so was thrilled to see it. Too bad that shadow stamp is discontinued. It's a perfect touch. The red tree on today's and yesterday's cards are a welcome surprise. You do, per usual, have a surprise or 2 for us.

  11. This looks wonderful! It's easy to see why you might have been inspired by the Starbuck's bag. I had one pinned to my cork board in my craft room until I finally made a card inspired by it!

  13. Another fabulous card! Interesting how making cards makes us look at (and even notice in the first place) things in our surroundings differently!

  14. This is beautiful. It brings out the white as a "color" with 3 white elements (happy, ground, and snow-pearls). And a triangle of 3 within that (3 pearls). But leaving the math aside, it's just really nice to look at!

  16. If it's not too much trouble, could you possibly post the stamp sets you use? I recognize the words from Papertrey's Wreath for all Seasons, but I'd love to know about the rest of the stamps. LOVE this card! TFS!

  18. Shadow is Hero Arts (discontinued) and the tree is A Muse (discontinued). And you're right about the sentiment...PTI Wreath for All Seasons.
