Here's a rather straightforward card using PTI's Simply Jane, a Fiskar's border punch, and dimensionals.
I just love that quotation from Northanger Abbey. I need to reread that one...been a while, and I do love Jane.
What's your favorite Austen novel?
I'm torn between Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.
My favorite is Persuasion. It's very similar to my "love story" with my husband, and so I adore it! Not that I was persuaded not to marry him, just similar. ;) LOVE this card--totally gonna CASE it if that's okay!!! I haven't read Northanger Abbey for a very long time either. I need to re-read a bunch of them! :) Hope you had a fabulous Easter, Susan!!!
ReplyDeletePride and Prejudice definitely, the only book I have read twice and for a teenager that was quite a feat. It probably also helped that in the 2 adaptations the BBC did of the book, they chose 2 very dishy Mr Darcys. SWOON!
ReplyDeletegreat card. the colors are perfect for the sentiment. ok, I've never read a word of Jane Austen!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is really really lovely. I love the colors, the stamps, the sentiment, and the border. It's all so utterly feminine. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Pride and Prejudice, hands down is my fave. I just read it again, for like the 10th time, last week on vacation, and it is still good! Am now reading Death Comes to Pemberly--seems fun.
ReplyDeleteTotally love this card and that sentiment. I'm ashamed to say I've never read the books. Saw one of the movies. And loved it.
ReplyDeleteI'm just reading Emma at the moment and am rather enjoying it :) though I think my favourite will remain Pride & Prejudice as it is so beautifully crafted... just like your card!
ReplyDeleteLovely card! My favourite is still Sense & Sensibility. But I may change my mind as I re-read them. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love them all and have re-read them all many, many times!! I think Emma may be my favorite with Mansfield park second. They are really all my favorites!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteStunning and classy card! I think Pride and Prejudice is my all time fav of Jane Austen. I also love Persuasion!
ReplyDeleteP&P hands down for me!
ReplyDeleteI love the Jane Austen cards you're doing. My favourite is Pride and Prejudice, closely followed by Emma. I too am just reading Death Comes to Pemberly - PD James really manages to capture Jane Austen's style.
ReplyDeleteNorthanger Abbey just happens to be my favourite Jane Austen novel! Perfect card for this quote.
ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite is Pride and Prejudice, but Persuasion comes in as a close second:)
