Using the Bling

If you missed my little give-away post, go HERE.  For a few days, this blog is all about ACTUALLY USING lots of bling as an intervention for hoarding the stuff.  So here's another card, layered for your viewing pleasure, that uses a lot of bling in blues and greens.

What do you think? Check your hoard stash of stamps and see if you have a sort of funky sentiment you can use for a similar card. Easy, fun, and consumptive of bling!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and, for those in the United States, please take time to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Monday. Let's start with this gem of a quotation from him:

"I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality.... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word."

Unarmed truth and unconditional love. We will get there, people. We will.

Supplies
stamps: Papertrey Birthday Bash Sentiments
ink: Memento
paper: Papertrey white
accessories: rhinestones, dimensionals

  3. Thank you for the inspiring quote today. It's a great way to start today. I think your card is marvelous as well, I may have to head to my craft room and CASE it. I have colored bling that I very rarely use. I think that custom coloring clear bling is the best way to go. Of course, I accumulated that bling before I figured that out.

    1. I accidentally posted it to this blog instead of Questioning my Intelligence. It's now over there where it belongs.
