Adulting

This.

Yep. I'm all over this.

Every year, I try to make Christmas-themed, single-panel thank-you note cards for me and the boys. The first batch of them looks like this:

I added the little berry stamp to the envelope return-address corner just for fun.

What are you working on right now? Please share so I can live vicariously through you. Crafting time is still so limited right now!!!!

Supplies
stamps: Papertrey
ink: Hero Arts
paper: Papertrey white
accessories: envelopes

  2. Right now I'm so short on time I think this year's lack of Christmas cards from me will be from lack of cards instead of the usual lack of organisation. :-( I'm working on getting through the next few weeks of work, ballet concerts, water polo finals, and Christmas "things" and hoping to survive to have a few days of holiday in the new year. ;-) I love your card, Susan. Beautiful with all that white space.

  3. I've finished up my handmade Christmas cards for friends and family (I only send out 30-ish cards). So now I'm playing with tags. I love going crazy on little tags. Can't wait to wrap the gifts, since I got some amazing paper called Fa-la-la-la-llama from Paper Source. My grandkids will love it!

    1. Ooops! Forgot to say that I love your beautiful thank you notes. I can add those to my list since I'm down with a cold and have lots of time on my hands.

  5. It's tough being an adult during the holidays. I want my Mama during the holidays; so that she can bake, shop, wrap and decorate. It's easier now that we are all ahem "older"; but Christmas can still be pretty crazy.

I am working on packing up my craft room for the big move. Five miles north and it feels like it's states away. Unless you are moving right next door; everything still has to go in a box. Sigh.

I have packed some of my crafty goodness that was stored in cabinets And moved some of that cabinet content to my crafting table. (8' long and worth every inch) I have left out my card making stuff so far. (Although hubby is itching to get it all into boxes. The move is at least a month away.) My stamps, inks, paper and my much prized embossing machine are still being used.

I am working on cards for a raffle basket for our big FFB Funraiser in February. I was also very silly and volunteered to cut and stamp card fronts for a "coloring" table at the event. And of course that means have card bases and envelopes ready for that.

The event is February 6th; and I didn't know we were moving when I volunteered. So, it all needs to get done; ummm, NOW. Then I can pack it all away and make hubby very happy.

Things are a bit easier because I am not decorating a thing for Christmas. It makes me a bit sad; but we are going to be UP north anyway. My little ceramic tree with have to do.....
