Sharing Your One-Layer Wednesday Cards

Sue asked me to explain how you can share your cards here.

Step One: Upload a digital photo or scan of your card to any online place (such as flickr, SplitcoastStampers, your blog).

Step Two: Once your upload is complete, select the url for that page you posted to, right click, and select "Copy."

Step Three: Come back to the One-Layer Wednesday post on Simplicity and leave a comment. Right click and select "Paste" to paste the url for your card into the comment box. Post the comment.

Voila!

I have never tried Mr. Linky and am not sure what it is. Perhaps someone can enlighten me if it's easier than this....

Ooh, I want to play....I need a sympathy card. Here is the link to InLinkz....it's what a lot of people are using now instead of mr linky (who sometimes is contrary):

I love your idea! I have also seen a few people say Mr. Linky is charging so try InLinkz as LeAnne mentioned: http://www.inlinkz.com.

Hi Susan! I'm a huge fan of InkLinkz too for linking cards. I use it on our PTI blog. I like that it's free and you can select an image to upload for your entry for everyone to see! I'd be more than happy to help you if you had any questions!

I bet you are going to have a lot of people participate in your challenge and Mr Linky (or similar) would not only make it faster to link a card but for others to see it with just a click. Although we can see the links that someone posts within the text of their comment, having to copy and paste the link to another window to look at their blog can be very time consuming - especially if there are lots of them. These link widgets are free and no harder to install than a site meter.

Yeah a challenge!! I am all over it ... even though I think making one layer cards is one of the hardest things to do. But then, maybe I'll get better at it if I play along each week!! Here is the link to my post!!
