I started 2017 with the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast. This week's challenge is to get color inspiration from Design Seeds, which is such a lovely website fully loaded with tons of color combinations. I started with the very pastel combination here.
My additional challenge was to use this combination on two different cards using the Papertrey set Warmest Wishes. First up, a winter scene with the cute little arctic fox.
I created a mask for the snow hill and used a stipple brush to swipe the sky blue and Lulu lavender, and then stamped everything. The panel is edged with silver metallic marker.
Next up, a simpler card with a fun bit of coloring using the colors of the combination plus some shiny bling.
What a lot of fun to play with a single color combo and get two different cards from it!
