Wrong Holiday, Cool Card

It's the Fourth of July here in the United States, so of course I'm posting a Christmas card.

I'm whimsical that way.

This stamp is old, old, old and huge, huge, huge. The card is oversized, roughly 5" x 7". The sentiment is from PTI, as are the button and twine and paper.

Happy Fourth of July!

Supplies
stamps: unknown, PTI sentiment
ink: SU white craft ink, close to cocoa classic ink
paper: PTI
accessories: white embossing powder, button, twine, dimensionals

  1. Christmas Card thinking in July is just right. Otherwise it sneaks up on you and then the whole point is to hit on a simple design and get done with it QUICKLY! Work and no fun.

I love this card for its simplicity, of course. Almost all my cards, except for Challenge cards, are 5X7 because my husband thinks anything smaller looks skimpy and like I think the recipient isn't worth more. Ah the little quirks that rule our lives!

    Happy 4th!

  5. Really cool card! I could use some of that cool snow, as it's going to be hot and humid here today, about 95.

As usual, you have used the Kraft cardstock to perfection, Susan!

  6. Whimsical indeed. Great card! I really need to get on the Christmas-card-making bandwagon, or I will suffer in December!

Happy 4th! I'm staying inside -- it's HOT in MI today!

  8. Your image looks terrific embossed in white on the kraft card base. I also like your thin, white mat.

  12. White on Kraft is quite unusual for a Christmas card but it looks fresh and delicate.
