Edited to Add: Thanks so much, everyone! Your stories of happy outcomes for preemies are so inspiring and uplifting. And Kay, I'm a sucker for baby tootsies, too. I can't wait to see him and play with his piggies myself!
Such a beautiful baby. Just 5 years ago, my niece had twins who were just over 4 pounds each. They were so tiny that each fit into the palm of my husband's hand. They are still small for their age, but strong and bright and full of energy. I will continue to pray for Grady.
Awww....How CUTE!!! He looks very healthy considering he was premature! Wow!! Looking good! Thanks so much for posting a pic of the little guy....Congrats! Cookie :D
He is beautiful and I know he'll do well. My DIL delivered twins on Aug. 3 (she was scheduled for a C-section on 8/28 and her due date was 9/15 if it was a single birth). The babies were 3 lbs. 14 oz and 4 lbs. 10 oz. They are doing great and, fortunately, their lungs were fully developed. They only spent 2 days in the NICU and 2 weeks in the special care nursery. They were the smallest babies I've ever seen but now, at a little over 2 months, they are a little over 9 and 10 lbs.
He's beautiful! and just another coincidence in our worlds....my nephew's name is Grady!!
ReplyDeleteTotal cuteness! Thanks for sharing him with us!
