Sleigh Bells Ring: Lateblossom Goes a Bit Rustic
I was poking around in my photo files and found this one that I made for CAS26 Stitching and forgot to post. It's a very straight-forward card with faux stitching (Hero Arts) and an awesome button with a divet in the center so the ribbon knot doesn't add bulk at all.
It's a bit rustic (and dark) for my usual style, but I like the warmth it conveys despite the snowy scene.
For a new picture of Grady and an update on his progress, please visit today's post on my other blog, Questioning my Intelligence.

This is wonderful - I like the dark colors for this card, they work well with the traditional image. Super faux stitching too!
ReplyDeleteA faux stitching stamp! That's a wonderful invention. I love the burgundy with the Kraft. I think it's perfect for this snowy scene.
ReplyDeleteThis card has an old world feel to it and great stitching stamp, it looks so real!
ReplyDeleteAWWWWW! Grady looks so cute. Look at those piano fingers....Lang Lang move over! He looks ready to go home, but we'll keep praying, and for Lisa too.
ReplyDeleteLove your card, would NEVER have thought to put burgundy with kraft. Now I will be able to put the Tart paper that's on sale at ginakdesigns to good use. It's been haunting me, what to do with it.
Thanks for sharing. Now I gotta scurry on over to Ebay and see if I can score that stamp!
