I am an artist who recycles my own mom's artwork into her art, it would be fun to recycle your mom's papers into it as well
ReplyDeleteScrapbooking works for me because it's a quiet hobby I can do late at night when I am night owling, and the kids are sleeping. :)
ReplyDeleteI love to scrapbook because I have six children and it is fun to remember when they were little!!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan - how wonderful that your Mom is creative too! My Mom makes cards so its lots of fun exchanging ideas and talking glitter and glue together. I am new to scrapbooking and haven't yet reached the stage where I feel confident to share my creations. Having said that I am really enjoying creating a little scrapbook of my niece's 1st year. Ok there is the creative element, but I am also enjoying celebrating what she means to the family and documenting those 'little moments' along the way. Jo x
ReplyDeleteWhy do I love Scrapbooking?
ReplyDeleteIt's a way of combining my love of photography with stamping and journalling and is an excuse to collect gorgeous papers which are often too lovely to use and are therefore simply admired instead!
[Although I'd be sure to use your Mum's papers out of respect for her :-)]
3 Grandchildren - I like to add to their books so they can say Grandma made some of their pages. We also travel a lot and I like to scrap our trips. And besides all those reasons it is just plain fun.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeletePresently I don't do very much scrapbooking but I do love cardmaking. I think they sort of go hand in hand with many supplies and tools used being the same. I really want to get more into it but just have such a lack of time. I have so many precious photos sitting in a box and would love a better way to present and enjoy them. It is on my 'to do' list. Thanks so much for the chance to win,
Karen D.
I am a beginner at scrapbooking but have been a cardmaker for years. I've got the know how I just need to get some pictures to scrapbook!
ReplyDeleteThis booty would be perfect to get me going in the scrapbooking direction!

I love scrapbooking because it give me a creative outlet that has no limits. I come from a family of quilters, so I love to play with color combinations. I just use paper instead of fabric.
ReplyDeleteI personally shudder at the thought of scrapbooking 45 years worth of pictures...however I would give all this to a young wife (4 years married) and mother of 2 boys who is an ardent scrapbooker. I am amazed at what she can do with bits and pieces
ReplyDeletethanks for considering us

ReplyDeleteI (opposite of love) scrapbooking. :P otoh, all that paper just about makes me drool! You are so generous to pass this treasure trove on, so I hope you will include this non-scrapbooker in your draw!

You are soo generous! I'm new to scrapbooking but have been - and will continue to do so - making cards. I love that I can do both and be able to play with ideas.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
What a great give away. I love to scrapbook my vacations because it's a single event. This means it's not and endless, overwhelming project. I can also, count that as my souvenier and I'm not tempted to buy any junk.
ReplyDeleteI love scrapbooking & cardmaking for many reasons... it is a wonderful creative outlet after long stressful work days, it lets me relive some great memories, and it lets me create books that my little nieces love to look at over and over and over. That is the best part. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI will be honest I don't scrapbook yet.... cards only so far. BUT...I want to do it so bad. I need direction and materials.....So this would be a start. I am jealous of my cousin's scrapbooking and hope to try it soon. Thanks for the chance to win.

I was brought up in a society where we were taught to stay within the lines. I never developed the creative juices that students nowdays are taught. Scrapbooking is getting me out of that box. It's not easy for me, but I am doing it.
