Miss You

This incredibly simple card has lots more white space than even I usually use, but the theme...missing you...seemed to call for emptiness. Doesn't that tree look so lonely? I thought about cutting the vanilla panel down more and leaving a bigger sage border, but then it just wouldn't look so lonely.

Supplies: SU Trendy Trees, PTI sentiment; sage shadow, vanilla SU cardstock; versamagic chalk inks; scor-pal; dimensional.

  9. I'm a new fan, having been led to you by Heather Telford. Wow! I love your work. Your style is one I admire greatly but have a difficult time with, myself. I partcularly love this card. It's the very diminutiveness of the tree in all that white space that strengthens the message.

  12. When we miss someone, we feel small, and this conveys that perfectly but in a sweet way, not a sad way.
