IC575 Again

I made a dreamy card inspired by this packaging from Anthropologie for this week's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. Audrie continues week in, week out to find amazing inspiration all over the place!

The dreamy background is Tim Holtz Distress ink in salty ocean and chipped sapphire, applied with the Tim Holtz mini inking tool, which is pretty wonderful to work with. The sentiment and stars were clear embossed before inking, and the edge features gold metallic marker because the inspiration photo has a gold necklace on it.

The stamp set is a new one from Hero Arts called Dreams Are Made. It came with my first order from my birthday money. Here's the rest of my loot:

So much goodness!

Anywho, I encourage you to check out the IC575 and play along this week. I continue to find inspiration from the yummy pictures on Anthropologie...but I would never pay $625 for a beanie, no matter that it's got crystals sewn into it. I'll stick with looking, thank you very much.

Mercy, grace, peace, and love,

stamps: Hero Arts Dreams Are Made
ink: Tim Holtz distress salty ocean and chipped sapphire; VersaMark
paper: Papertrey white
accessories: Tim Holtz mini inking tool, clear embossing powder, heat gun, craft foam, glue, gold metallic marker, metal ruler

  1. I love this type of card and I love Tim Holtz ink colors. Your haul is quite impressive and I've yet to receive a birthday money gift that would buy even a little of that. Great choices in shopping.

    1. Money is usually all I get...everyone knows the best gift for me is cash for stamps, LOL!

  2. This is a lovely card, Susan. I esp. like the sentiments- both on your card & the inspiration piece.

  3. Susan...I have been out of it for a bit. I moved in September from CT to FL which seemed to be "big", i.e., leaving my home of 25 years, downsizing by more than 50%, last minute decision not to retire but work remotely, facing an unfinished house and an impeding hurricane when I arrived. Anyway cardmaking stopped for a few months until I could find the time and space again. My point is that I just learned that OLS is retired...and it will be missed. Though I know I can always find ultra CAS here on simplicity...thank you for everything, everyday. ElizStewart,

    1. Wow! That is a lot of change for a short period of time! I'm glad you have time now to think about stamping again. Yes, the OLS is gone. It's sad, but all four hostesses are still stamping strong and will continue to keep things CAS. Thanks so much for thinking of us amidst all the changes in your life!

  4. awesome card the sentiment!

Thank you so much for taking time to comment!
