RAK: You Are Neat

My friend Lisa over at Flat Fish Paper Arts sent me a card that speaks to me. OMGosh, I may need to buy a label maker!

How totally cool is this? She got the idea from a card she saw on Etsy, and thought of me, though I can't imagine why. *snort* If you have a label maker, why not make one for your closest AR/OC friend. He or she will love it just like I do!

Lisa is such a sweet online friend. She's an urban bee keeper who sent me a jar of honey for my Honey, who eats honey-and-peanut-butter sandwiches in preparation for his Ironman races. See why she's sweet? Check out her BLOG for more pictures of her art and her adorable new puppy, Annie.

Thanks so much, Lisa!

PS I'm considering selling off a bunch of stamps to make room (and money!) for more. Would anyone be interested if I posted them here? Otherwise, I'm taking them to a brick-and-mortar ebay seller.

  1. i'm sure you'd have no problem selling them here, because maybe they'll be laced with a little bit of your mojo?

  4. Hmmmmm, what a catch-22! Of course I want to buy every stamp you ever thought to add to your collection because if YOU thought to buy it, I have at least half a chance of doing something gorgeous with it. On the other hand, if you're willing to part with it, do I have ANY chance of doing something gorgeous with it?

And I have to giggle because every Follower here has told herself, "This year, no more new stuff until I reduce the size of my vast inventory first!"

Oh the guilt! I'm sure my wish list mirrors Michelle's. I think I should set up a card table to take bets on how many minutes it takes you to sell ALL your discards here, once you post them. :-)

  14. Hmm, looks like *many* of us would like a chance at your discards. If you added a little mojo to them you could probably double the price you paid! :D
At first when I read the label I thought it said 'You are next'. I thought that was a bit strange... but I have strange girlfriends (and am one, myself) so no biggie. THEN I realized what it actually said and started snorting.
    Awesome!

  16. Snort snort... would the stamps come with a 5 min private critique of the card I'd try to make with it? My creations would not even come close to those you had made with the old stamp set, so I'll need all the help I can get. Regardless, yes, yes, I'd be interested in shopping :->

  25. You can't get more simple than that. How fun.

I have one of those old Dymo label makers. I never had good luck with the plastic labels they are supposed to be used with but I have used it several times for sb pages where I have cut strips of paper to the appropriate width and run that through. For paper, just rub ink lightly over the raised letters to have them show off.

  26. Okay, Susan, obviously your stamps are going to just fly off the shelf once you post them. In fact, you won't have enough to accommodate everyone. So I, through the kindness of my own heart, am willing to ship you a bunch of MY old stamp sets I no longer want, just so that you can sell them for me, claiming they are yours. I promise to give 10% to charity (you, of course) to make it all legal and appealing.

  27. Krikey, NO, Sue! You'll have to sell your own, LOL! The SU stamps are just the tip of the iceberg. More brands will be coming later, so don't worry. There'll be enough without yours to keep me busy!
