Warm and Cool Redux

So I posted a pair of cards last week that explored yellow/orange versus purple color schemes, and now I'm doing it again. I still don't have a preference, but some of you did before. I imagine it's the same for you now. This stamp set from Altenew (Wildflower Garden) has such lovely flower stamps in it...perfect for the marker-and-water-spritz technique.

The stamping mojo still isn't back yet. I shall persevere and break through the block, though. Onward!

Just keep swimming....

Mercy, grace, peace, and love,

Susan

  1. You may still be struggling with mojo loss but these are gorgeous cards that have two very different vibes.

  4. Susan, it's good to have you back. Both cards are lovely and anyone would be happy to receive either, but I prefer the yellow/orange. I thought at first that the image was the new Sending Smiles from SU but went on to read that it is Altenew. I may case this card with the SU set which I just purchased but have yet to use. I hope you don't mind.

    1. Don't mind at all! I'd be honored. And isn't it cool when we can substitute something we already have in a CASE, instead of copying outright?

  5. Love both cards with the yellow one just a hair in front. BTW, thank you George for your service to our country. My late brothers both served so I honor them too, today.

  6. For not having your mojo back you're still making beautiful cards. I'm a purple fan but for some reason your orange/yellow card is my favorite. Such bright, cheery colors and I 'm sure it would brighten the day of anyone who receives it.

    1. Joan, I think my preference is strongly influenced by my mood. I sorta preferred the orange one when I posted (like you, by a hair, maybe), but today, the purple one is making me happy. Go figure!
