Blue Card Base and Simply Jane

Here's a rather straightforward card using PTI's Simply Jane, a Fiskar's border punch, and dimensionals.

I just love that quotation from Northanger Abbey. I need to reread that one...been a while, and I do love Jane.

What's your favorite Austen novel?

I'm torn between Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.

  1. My favorite is Persuasion. It's very similar to my "love story" with my husband, and so I adore it! Not that I was persuaded not to marry him, just similar. ;) LOVE this card--totally gonna CASE it if that's okay!!! I haven't read Northanger Abbey for a very long time either. I need to re-read a bunch of them! :) Hope you had a fabulous Easter, Susan!!!

  2. Pride and Prejudice definitely, the only book I have read twice and for a teenager that was quite a feat. It probably also helped that in the 2 adaptations the BBC did of the book, they chose 2 very dishy Mr Darcys. SWOON!

  4. This is really really lovely. I love the colors, the stamps, the sentiment, and the border. It's all so utterly feminine. Just lovely.

  5. Beautiful card. Pride and Prejudice, hands down is my fave. I just read it again, for like the 10th time, last week on vacation, and it is still good! Am now reading Death Comes to Pemberly--seems fun.

  6. Totally love this card and that sentiment. I'm ashamed to say I've never read the books. Saw one of the movies. And loved it.

  12. I love the Jane Austen cards you're doing. My favourite is Pride and Prejudice, closely followed by Emma. I too am just reading Death Comes to Pemberly - PD James really manages to capture Jane Austen's style.
