Heart Flower
This heart stamp from PTI's Heart Prints baffled me at first. What are you supposed to do with these hearts nested in each other? I tried coloring it in (not so much), and then thought, hey, make a flower! The black and white flower with a single large red rhinestone makes me happy in my heart.
It's sort of shamrock-ish, but I tried five petals and it looked crowded. Those petals need to breath. Plus, there's no green. Do you think that works for Valentines? I may do one in green cardstock for St. Patrick's Day.

Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteReally fabulous. In green, totally works for St. Pat's.
ReplyDeleteSusan, this is gorgeous! What great thinking! What is Valentine's Day all about, but hearts and flowers. And to do it in such a CAS way is awesome. Now, THIS great thinking is what we pay you for! What? We don't pay you? Oh.
ReplyDeletelove it, of course!
ReplyDeletemight also look nice with hearts stamped on light pink cardstock. or in red ink on the white cardstock. thanks for the inspiration.

You're making valentine cards already? LOL!!

Thanks, Susan.

It looks fine to me....a bit shamrocky but shamrocks only have three petals anyhow so adding the fourth does away with a real shamrock...I like the gem in the middle...as usual you have excelled yourself.
ReplyDeleteI am not a huge fan of hearts but you have really made this work! Love it!
ReplyDeletethis is adorable! I think you totally made this heart "work" for you!! :o)
ReplyDeleteWhat Sue said cracks me up! Yes, this is what we pay you for. :-) I seldom come here that I don't think, wow we should have to pay for this kind of genius thinking. Turning a heart image into a flower....well where could I buy a mind that could do that? Even the best teachers couldn't TEACH a mind to do that.
ReplyDeleteThis definitely works.
ReplyDeleteBahb and Sue, y'all really crack me up!!! If I put a tip jar on the blog, would you pay? Naaaah!
