Gift Set

A friend of mine moved from Ohio to Alaska, so I gave her a gift set of cards. This very gift set.

Here are a couple of close-ups.

On her first weekend in Anchorage, a bear crossed the intersection in front of Sam's Club ahead of her.

She's going to need more than flowers.

The end.

Supplies
stamps: Gina K Designs
ink: VersaColor
paper: Papertrey Ink
accessories: a clear box to hold the cards and envelopes

  1. The cards are CAS perfection. Your chosen colors are so lovely. What a thoughtful gift. I cannot imagine living in Alaska. I certainly hope your friend likes it.

  2. Beautiful cards. Agree with previous poster -- CAS perfection! We were in Anchorage 2008-2010 and loved it. My favorite assignment. This summer found us moving from Hawaii to Interior Alaska -- not so beautiful as the Anchorage area but Alaska is a special place.

  8. Lol, she'll get used to the bears here... and the moose... and the eagles... Believe me the scenery and wildlife will capture her heart forever and she'll never look at another state like she does Alaska! I'm in Southeast Alaska 90 miles north of the capital... about 800 miles from your friend... but still in the Last Frontier of Alaska! Hmmm.... does that mean I get a set of cards too?! ;o)

  9. Gorgeous Cards! She may need a large caliber pistol. lol Can you tell I'm from the Ozarks? I hear the scenery is breathtaking, you have to be careful with your trash, and never ever walk around with a sack from McDonald's in your hand.
